Our story
From Brazil to Atlanta — with Houston as home base
Beto and his wife moved from Brazil to Atlanta, carrying a love for storytelling and the belief that every couple’s day deserves to be filmed with care. Today Hill of Zion Films is rooted in Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX — serving couples across the South (including LA, NC, SC, FL, TN, and AL) and traveling for destination weddings worldwide.
At home, life revolves around family — including their daughter, Zoey Joy — which keeps the work grounded in what actually matters: people, presence, and the small moments that become the ones you replay.
On wedding days, Beto collaborates closely with your photographer so video and stills move as one team. Couples often say they feel confident on camera — guided without feeling staged, documented without feeling watched.
The goal is simple: a film that feels like cinema and still feels like you.
